Hawaiian Wedding Ceremony

Our Tropical Flavored Wedding Ceremonies honor and bring
the Sacred Divine Spirit of Love into your Hawaiian Wedding Ceremony

He punawai kahe wale ke aloha. Love is a sprig that flows freely

Sweet Hawaii Wedding understands the importance of bringing the
Sacred Divine Spirit of Love
into your Hawaiian wedding ceremony.

Our Hawaiian Kahu (minister) is a master at entwining beauty, spirituality, grace and understanding into your Hawaiian wedding celebration...

We believe that all Divine paths, from all religions and belilef systems, teach the same basic concept of love and harmlessness. We follow the philosophy that all diverse paths have a common thread encouraging loving actions.

These varied loving concepts are all part of the same magnificent Creative Force in our Universe (One-ness), and this force embodies Love for all creations - large and small....

We honor and respect this force of Love.
This Creative Energy is All-Knowing and All-Loving.
Thus, our basic philosophy is LOVE.....

As you have wandered through our website, you have noticed the many spiritual quotes reminding us of this Loving Presence in our lives. We encourage deliberate focus on a loving mind and heart connection. We believe love brings spiritual blessings and peace.

A romantic moment for this happy Hawaiian wedding couple at the beach All of our wedding ceremonies begin with the conch shell blowing. This ancient ritual summons the witnesses of the
Earth, Air, Water and Fire...

These are all the awe-inspiring creations of Holy Divine Energy and we acknowledge and give thanks for their presence in our life. It is these Holy elements which have gifted us this lovely home called Earth, and which gives and sustains all of life.

Your Hawaiian style Kahu (minister) will entwine Christian tradition with Hawaiian tradition, creating a unique and heavenly Hawaiian wedding ceremony.

Your true love is celebrated with gentle messages of love and understanding.

The Christian Bible is quoted concerning the attributes of love:

Love is patient, love is kind,
love does not envy, it does not boast, love is not proud,
it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes.
Love Never Fails...

If you prefer, we can adjust your Hawaii wedding ceremony to fit your heart felt feelings -
we are flexible where love is concerned.

Your Hawaii Wedding Ceremony

As you look into one another's eyes, the following are the vows
that our Kahu (minister) will say:

Do you, James, take Kyle to be your wife,
you to be her husband, her partner, her best friend ?
Will you love, honor and cherish her all of your days together ?

Do you, Kyle, take James to be your husband,
you to be his wife, his partner, his best friend ?
Will you love, honor and cherish him all of your days together ?

As you look into one another's eyes and place the ring on your love's hand,
you repeat these vows, after our kahu (minister), one line at a time.

The following is our ring celebration:
I give you this ring in celebration of our love.
I accept you as my partner and give you all
the treasures of my mind, my heart and my soul.

After the ring exchange you now experience Sweet Hawaii Wedding's lei celebration.
This is a lovely part of your Hawaii wedding ceremony.
Your hands are held together and are draped with two fragrant flower leis
along with two leis that will last a lifetime...
A Hawaiian prayer chant blessing is given and following is the giving of leis to one another
through a meaningful lei celebration. You give a hone hone kiss after each lei exchange
(this is the exchanging of the Sacred Breath). Hawaiian style.....
It brings on smiles and happiness.  Just wait and see!!

After much heartfelt expressions of love and delight,
you are pronounced husband and wife partners for life,
together expressing love...

AND NOW MARRIED!

The purpose of relationship is not to have another who might complete you, but to have another with whomm you might share your completeness. ! Neale Donald Walsch

Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction. ! Antoine de Saint-Exupery

... The new female and the new male are partners on a journey of spiritual growth. They want to make the journey. Their love and trust keep them together. Their intuition guides them. They consult with each other. They are friends. They laugh a lot. They are equals. That is what a spiritual partnership is: a partnership between equals for the purpose of spiritual growth. ! from 'Soul Stories' by Gary Zukov

"I" AM THE "I"
OWAU NO KA "I"

"I" come forth from the void into light,
Pua mai au mai ka po iloko o ka malamalama,

"I" am the breath that nurtures life,
Owau no ka ha, ka mauli ola,

"I" am that emptiness, that hollowness beyond all consciousness,
Owau no ka poho, ke ka'ele mawaho a'e o no ike apau.

The "I", the Id, the All.
Ka I, Ke Kino Iho, na Mea Apau.

"I" draw my bow of rainbows across the waters,
Ka a'e au i ku'u pi'o o na anuenue mawaho a'e o na kai a pau,

Ihe continuum of minds with matters.
Ka ho'omaumau o na mana'o ame na mea a pau.

"I" am the incoming and outgoing of breath,
Owau no ka "Ho", a me ka "Ha"

Ihe invisible, untouchable breeze,
He huna ka makani nahenahe,

Ihe undefinable atom of creation.
Ka "Hua" huna o Kumulipo.

"I" am the "I".
Owau no ka "I".
